The Sola Fred is blend of 90% Carignan and 10% Grenache. According to the shelf talker, it sees no oak. As one would expect from an oakless red, it is a very subtle wine. The palate shows tart cranberry and raspberry with a hint of mint. It is juicy with a medium finish. This is a great deal for ten bucks.
