Aromas included sweet fruit and maybe florals. Generic, but pleasant. On the palate, the fruit was quite soft, with hints of spices and a tartness at the finish. Maybe a teeny bit gamey underneath (or maybe I was reaching). I thought it was pretty good. Guesses: southern France/Languedoc or Spain, Rhone varietals, around $12.00.
